Electromagnetic fields (EMF) are all around us. They are invisible to humans yet emanate from countless devices that we interact with everyday. They may be intentionally generated (like the radio waves used for wireless communications), unintentionally produced by electronic devices, or even naturally (supernaturally??) occurring.

In this workshop we will build a circuit that allows us to listen to EMF. We will discuss more about what EMF is, learn some basic electronics, and assemble a circuit using a solderless breadboard. Each student will leave the class with their own EMF listening device, ready for field recordings and paranormal investigations.

No prior experience is necessary! Open to ages 13 and up. If finances are a hindrance, please reach out and we will find a way. Space is limited!

The workshop will be happening on Monday October 28, 2024 from 6-8pm at 1005 Grand Street in Brooklyn, NY.
